Forney: One Mann Ranch (See Photo Below) |
Description One Mann Ranch has two 30-acre soil conservation lakes that were redredged in 1993 and stocked with Florida bass. The lakes are still fairly shallow with the deepest water by the islands as a result of the dredging. These lakes stay murky most of the time due to the cattle on the ranch. This, at times, can make the fishing more difficult than most lakes, but don’t let that fool you into thinking the fish aren’t there. There have been plenty of good trips with the biggest fish being over 10 lbs. Feel free to fish both lakes while you are there. Good bank fishing is available, but you will want to launch a small two man bass boat to fish the entire lake. There are good sloping banks to launch. |
General Directions 5 miles northeast of Forney. |
