Description Relax and enjoy this secluded fishing getaway at Lonesome Pine Ranch in the scenic hills between Bellville and Chappell Hill in the heart of Texas bluebonnet country. There are three lakes available for fishing. The Striper Lake has both hybrid striper and bass. It is 10-acres with lots of cover and great bank fishing. Boat launching is allowed but very limited. Lake House Lake is another 10-acre lake full of bass. You cannot drive down to the lake so launching a boat is impossible unless you carry it 50 yards down. Bank fishing is excellent. The Small Lake is about 3-acres and is loaded with bass. It has good, but limited bank fishing. You are allowed to fish all the lakes during your trip. |
General Directions 60-70 miles, 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes from downtown Houston. App. 8 miles North of Bellville. |
