Carbon: Stump Tank
(See Photo Below)

Description
Stump Tank is a five-acre lake that ranges from five to 30 feet deep with very clear water and a great amount of submerged and standing structure. The lake was stocked with black bass eight years ago and, since that time, bass ranging in size from 19-22 inches have been caught and released. In 1997, 107 bass were caught and released in a three-day period. Easy access to the banks of the lake allows for shore casting and wading. Small boats with trolling motors and tubes are also allowed. The cover around the lake is moderate and provides good shade. Within walking distance are four smaller ponds, which members are welcome to fish during their outing. There is no boat available for club use at this site.
