Seagoville: Turf Tanks (See Photo Below) |
Description Turf Tanks is only 20 minutes from downtown Dallas. It has a number of gravel pits ranging from 3 to 15 acres. These Lakes are loaded with large bass. Days with a number of bass in the 4 to 6 pound range are common. The largest bass caught by members so far is 10 1/2 pounds. The lakes have a lot of wooded cover and numerous humps and ridges giving a fisherman plenty of targets to throw at. Bank fishing is good and boats can be launched by hand during normal water levels. A 12 ft. aluminum jon boat is on site and available for club use. After use, be sure to return the boat exactly as you found it. Duck hunting is also available at this site. This is a cattle ranch so leave the gates like you find them. |
