Longview: Everglades Lake
(See Photo Below)

Description
As the name states, fishing this 50-acre 12-foot deep East Texas lake is like fishing in the Florida Everglades. Everglades Lake was built in 1948, leaving almost all of the ample East Texas trees to provide great structure and cover for the black bass, blue gill, and crappie that have been stocked throughout the years. That, along with the good water clarity, makes this a challenge for even the most seasoned Lake Fork fisherman. So, for those of you who feel up to the challenge, be sure to bring your muscles, extra lures and flies because Longview: Everglades Lake doesn’t accept the weak hearted and it doesn’t accept live bait. There is no club boat available at this site.
